I love getting your encouragement and hearing that you are proud of what I am doing (and Trying to do)! General Conference was so enlightening to me! I know the thinsg that I will change and need to fix in my character.
---Insert about Sister Nybo. She is great at picking up on pretty much any quote that I reference. She is very easy going...NOW that we understand each other. Really it's funny...not much has changed...we still act mostly the same way (obviously we are the SAME people) but we trust and love each other now. We are willing to work around each others needs and flaws (now that we know what those are) WE know what each excpects and wants. This will be very helpful for any other kind of a relationship I am in. Yay for learning! and hmmm...she's pretty willing to go along with the crazy ideas I have. AND!!! now I feel like I can have those crazy ideas...so that undoes my feeling stifled :) and! that's evident in the room rearranging that we did this morning! Transfers are next Monday but....pretty sure we are not getting transfered. I hope not!!! It took a lot of work to get to where we are now and we are up for the challenge that Gig Hargbor presents! The work will go forward now unhindered by self centered concerns.
There were talks directed right Susan* -who we are trying to teach- and I hope to be able to watch them with her! I HIGHLY recommend Richard G Scott's talk and Dallin H Oaks' talk. They were probably my favorite. And then Elder Anderson's too? or it might have been Neilson. hmmm conference-run-together moment! oh AND!!! Who was it...oh! Pres Eyring sun morning talk reminded me so much about the Maxwell talk "Content with the things allotted unto us" which I still love so much! The Lord truly teaches his children in their own needed way. I am so excited to start living up to the personal direction I have received!
*Names have been changed
Hold to the gospel light!
